Vision Asia Committee

The Vision Asia oversees the implementation of the Vision Asia Program which is a program in the AFC that aims to to raise the standards of Asian football at all levels - which is in line with Prince Ali's belief that our continent has tremendous talent across the board and untapped potential that must be realized. This program is one important vehicle to give Asian football a boost on all fronts - "be it on the field of play, administration or sports science". The program was launched in 2002.
The program is divided into 11 disciplines - corresponding to the 11 players on the football field : National Associations (goalkeeper); Marketing, Grassroots, Coach Education, Referees, Sports Medicine (defenders); Men's Competitions, Women's Competitions, Futsal (midfielders); Media, Fans (forwards).

The Social Responsibility Committee serves to develop and implement model programs that create opportunities for people to explore their dreams through football and make social responsibility a sustainable lifelong practice, by creating a football culture of youth and players who can give back to their families and community.
The programs are designed to be harmonious with AFC's Vision Asia strategy, and then expanded to the AFC's member associations.
Dream Asia, the flagship project of the AFC's Social Responsibility Department, focuses on programs that are active in 6 areas:
- Poverty
- Education
- Health Promotion and Combating Disease
- Social Inclusion and Disabled Football
- Peace Building
- Environment
